# Seeking advice on MaxMind error log issues

The response code is clear.

I’m pretty certain they have somehow associated your account with a region they do not serve and are therefore blocking your requests on this basis.

I have experience of this because I maintain the [Locations plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/locations-plugin/69742) which makes deeper use of MaxMind.

Contact their support and you can bring that up.
