# Mentioning group by full name doesn't work

If the group full name is different from the short name, and you mention the group by the long name, there is no autocomplete as one would expect. Only mentioning the shortname works.

I can confirm the bug. It _should_ work in the sense that the full names of groups should be handled in the same way as users’ full names.

Any hope for this making it in 1.9?

(Sorry for the double-bump. I’m writing up instructions about working with groups and marking out stuff that is likely to change shortly – or not 😊)
