# Vermeldingen van @admins sturen geen meldingen voor gewone gebruikers - Hoe te repareren

When a regular user mentions [@admins](https://meta.discourse.org/groups/admins), the notifications do not arrive. However, if an admin mentions [@admins](https://meta.discourse.org/groups/admins), the notifications work correctly. How can I resolve this issue?

maybe have a look at these settings for the admin group.

can you please check your permissions and settings again, maybe refresh your test user. I just tested this using a TL\_2 user mentioning admins group and it worked as expected - I got a notification immediately.

they aren’t private messages. they are personal messages. the admin has to be invited to the conversation. your OP doesn’t say anything about pms.
