# Merge categories

Hello, is there a way to merge 2 categories into one/move all posts from 1 category into another? We have 2 categories which are too similar and I want to consolidate them into 1.

Have a look at [Administrative Bulk Operations](https://meta.discourse.org/t/administrative-bulk-operations/118349). If it’s just dozens you can use multiple select to move them, I believe.
