# Merged two users, stats don't change

Hi folks. I just used the merge feature on our test server.

- The removed user had 1 topic and the new user has 1 topic.
- However, while the new user’s admin stats say “2 topics”, the public profile page says “0 topics.”

What went/did I do wrong?

Hi!

I believe these stats are updated through a background job that runs periodically. Try looking back later in the day, or tomorrow. 🙂
