# Messaging Multiple Members

Due to a recent update/change, we are no longer able to paste a list of members in the recipient field to add them all at once. We need to actually add each member name, wait for the search to find that member and choose it one by one.

What was taking seconds is now taking 15-20 mins (depends on the number of members on the list)

Can we disable this?

I can reproduce this in the PM composer. I’m _guessing_ it’s related to [this recent change](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/98201ecc24d5e5c262f1292f416dc6dd11f82d3e). cc @Osama
