# Meta Discourse now for logged in users only?

Is this a bug or intentional? I tried browsing in meta from different workstation.

On other hand, I tried to login using my account [fb/gmail], Got this:
> Your account has not been approved by a moderator yet. You will receive an email when it is approved.

Oops, yeah, we’re looking into this.
We removed the support for the “site-wide password” and it looks like this is the side-effect.

Very very strange, no idea how the `login_required` setting was set to true.
Which does bring up a point, we should have an audit trail on site settings, some changes there can really cause much pain.
