# Migrating from Salesforce to Discourse

Hi all!
We’re looking at moving from an established Salesforce community to Discourse, is it possible to do the migration ourselves? We also need to integrate SF with it as well. Has anyone done this before and how much effort/time did it take?

I don’t see an importer for Salesforce in the respository:

I’ve done a bunch of bespoke migrations. If you want to do it yourself, start with one of the existing ones that supports the features you need and modify it accordingly.

It is possible, yes. We have migrated communities off Salesforce onto Discourse before.
