# Migration from vBulletin

I’m super keen to migrate a forum running on vBulletin to Discourse. Has anyone done it successfully yet?

What ever happened to the “in a few months we plan to open source our importers” thing ?

Lack of time and focus, and the fact that you guys already were doing something similar.  
But if you’re still interested in this, I’ll up it on the todo list.

so how is the actual state of this vbulletin importer thing? Are you offering this as a service, @michaeld? Only for your customers or also for other users? How is your pricing for that?
