# Migration from yaf.net to discourse

Hello,
I’m trying to migrate my forum (closed to public) from [https://www.yetanotherforum.net/](https://www.yetanotherforum.net/) to discourse. I found a lot of migration scripts but never from [https://www.yetanotherforum.net/](https://www.yetanotherforum.net/). Any solution ?

First of all you need access to your data. Some closed forum engines don’t allow that, I don’t know about yours.
But your links seem not to lead to the correct website. Did you mean [https://www.yetanotherforum.net/](https://www.yetanotherforum.net/)?
I think there’s no other solution than creating a new migration script from scratch or asking on #Marketplace as a paid gig. There are migrations experts on this forum.
If you know a bit of code and have some free time, you can have a look at the existing importers and try creating a new import script. 🙂

I wrote several import scripts before I really understood Ruby. Now it’s a decent part of my living.
