# Min post length site setting is different from \`min first post length\`

I’ve just changed `min post length` on two sites to 10 and when I try to post a 12 character OP, I get an error that the post must be 20 characters. One I changed long ago; the other I reloaded to make sure that it wasn’t in the browser. I’m pretty sure that it worked until recently.
