# Missing "x months ago" between posts when post numbers are not continuous

There is no “x months ago” message between posts when a post is missing (hidden / deleted?).  
I noticed this here: [Change to DD Mmm / Mmm 'YY for post dates - #23 by mcwumbly](https://meta.discourse.org/t/change-to-dd-mmm-mmm-yy-for-post-dates/13625/23)  
There should be a message between post #21 and post #23.

Yeah unfortunately the gap detection does not work when there are deleted posts between the posts. I wish we could get this to work because it happens a fair bit.
