최근 Microsoft Edge 브라우저를 v101로 업데이트했는데, 키보드가 작성 영역을 가려서 입력하는 내용을 볼 수 없습니다. 이 문제는 Edge v101.0.1210.53보다 높은 버전에서 발생합니다. Meta에서 재현할 수 있지만, 원인이 무엇인지以及如何 수정해야 하는지 알 수 없습니다.

흥미롭네요. BrowserStack을 통해 Android용 Firefox 96.1.1에서 이 문제를 재현할 수 있습니다. 여기 meta에서도, 약 한 달 전에 마지막으로 배포된 별도의 사이트에서도 마찬가지입니다.
@Falco @dax, 재현이 가능합니까? Edge와 Android용 Firefox를 모두 확인해 주시면 좋겠습니다.

Firefox v. 100.3.0 (Build #2015881499)에서 재현되지 않음
수정: 페이지의 맨 아래에 있을 때 키보드를 열면 Firefox에서 문제를 재현할 수 있습니다.

hey @lassoan 위로 살짝 스크롤하면 작성기가 화면을 차지하게 되는데, 그래도 정상적으로 사용할 수 있으니 완전히 쓸모가 없어지는 건 아니에요. 다만 좀 번거로울 뿐이죠.

저한테 이건 단순한 불편함이 아닙니다. 에디터와 키보드를 동시에 표시할 수 없습니다. 어디를 스크롤하든 키보드가 항상 에디터를 가립니다. 완전히 눈감고 타이핑해야 하는 상황입니다.

실제로 수정 사항이 병합되었지만, 해당 수정이 사용자의 브라우저에 반영되기까지 몇 주가 걸릴 수 있습니다. 이에 대한 확인을 기다리고 있습니다.
> 수정 사항이 Chrome 105(현재 Canary)에 포함되어 있으며, 8월 30일에 Stable 버전으로 출시될 예정입니다.
이 문제를 해결하려면 꽤 오래 기다려야 할 것 같습니다.

문제가 Discourse가 Chrome의 버그에 최적화되어 다른 모든 브라우저에서 깨지는 것 때문인가요?
알려진 우회 방법이 있나요?
특정 커뮤니티에서는 오픈소스 브라우저를 우선적으로 지원하는 것이 더 바람직할 것 같습니다.

우리는 Android에서 Chrome만 지원합니다. 하지만 여기서는 Firefox의 Visual Viewport API 구현 버그에서 비롯된 문제입니다. 키보드가 화면에 표시될 때 값이 업데이트되지 않고, Firefox에서 Virtual Keyboard API 지원이 없는 것도 원인이 됩니다.
Firefox Android에 이러한 버그가 있고, 최신 API가 부족하며 공식적으로 지원되지 않는 브라우저임에도 불구하고, 위 PR에 상당한 시간을 투자했습니다. 이 PR은 해당 문제를 우회하는 방식으로 동작해야 합니다.

방금 제 수정 사항을 머지했습니다. MS Edge(Android)에서 OP가 보고한 버그를 100% 해결할 수 있을 것입니다.
다만 Firefox Android의 경우 [Can I use... Support tables for HTML5, CSS3, etc](https://caniuse.com/mdn-api_virtualkeyboard%EC%97%90) 대한 지원이 없어 우회적으로 해킹을 구현해야 했기 때문에 100% 완벽하지 않을 수 있으며 후속 수정이 필요할 수 있습니다.
