This is great mobile layout. Except there is one problem with it. You see, it thinks that my browser with following user agent is mobile: “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0”.
Not over here - the same user agent gets the normal desktop view.
But I did get it the other way around this afternoon. My iPhone 5 / iOS7 was getting served the desktop view here on meta. Five minutes later, when I was about to make a screenshot in order to post it here, it was back to normal.
That makes three reports of responsive issues today (there is another one here).
No recent changes in Github regarding this, but where there’s smoke…
Weirdly, I’m seeing this, too—and not just in Firefox. I fired up Safari (with a cleared cache) to check something out on my forums, which is on a current git pull as of about an hour ago, and was greeted with the mobile theme. Have also had it happen in Firefox, but never in Chrome.
There was an anon caching bug where sometimes anon clients would inappropriately serve mobile design if cached at the right time. @sam fixed with recent commits.
