# Modal headers - seeing double

Hi there!

For some reason, I’m seeing double modal headers. It doesn’t seem to be any particular modals though, so not sure where it’s come from.

As an example -

Has anyone else come across this, or have any idea on where I can start looking to try and determine the source?

Hi @Parker1090!  
Usually, this kind of issue is caused by a theme component or plugin. You can try [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true) and see if it persists 🙂

Thanks @Canapin! That really helped!

Turned out to be a [plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/guest-gate-sign-up-popup-plugin/56625) that had been depreciated (I wasn’t aware). Disabling that has fixed it.
