# Mode light interface for users

Currently my website has not set up dark mode so is there a way to force users to only load the light interface?

Hi @hoangphuctran93!

To prevent users from being able to select other color schemes, you can disable “Color scheme can be selected by users” for each dark color palette your forum has:

Also, have a look at the **default dark mode color scheme id** site setting:
