# Moderator/Admin Off Duty Button

I just wanted to know if this is a thing or if there’s a way to do this? Can there be an off duty button, which mods can click when they go offline for the night? If it’s not possible (other than having to change your bio), can this either be made a plug-in or a new feature built into discourse? Thanks.

The functionality already exists. We use it internally so that we can see who is on holiday.

Not sure what the plugin is though. Perhaps someone from [@tech-advocates](https://meta.discourse.org/groups/tech-advocates) can let you know.

That’s coming from our official calendar plugin:

The mods/admins could essentially “clock out” each day in the holiday calendar topic, posting the timeframe they expect to be offline. It’s not exactly an off duty button, but it’s something that’s already built and can achieve a similar effect.
