# Moderator unable to move post to new topic when user has reached first day limit

Right when you do that, you are posting as that user from the code’s perspective.

But in fact it’s not posting new content, just moving existing content for which a posting credit was spent once already. And it’s an action performed by a mod, not by that user. I too support not consuming posting credits when moving posts.
