## AI-generated summary

**Issue with Most Replied Categories Sorting**

[VSCPlays](/t/-/259863/1) reported an issue with the most replied categories not being sorted correctly on their profile page. The second category, `#help-and-feedback:scripting-support`, appears above the first category, `community resources`, despite having fewer total replies.

[VSCPlays](/t/-/259863/1) provided steps to reproduce the issue and included screenshots for reference. However, [JammyDodger](/t/-/259863/2) suggested that the sorting might be based on a combination of topics and replies, which could explain the discrepancy. [JammyDodger](/t/-/259863/2) also shared their own screenshot, which appears to be sorted correctly.

my most replied is community resources, while the second is #help-and-feedback:scripting-support and the second is at the top, while the first is below the second.

1. Go to your profile
2. Scroll down until you find the most replied categories
3. Notice the 1st place being 2nd, while the 2nd place is 1st

(I originally reported this in the DevForums, but I was told to post it in discourse but it appears to be normal for me)

The top one in your screenshot would be (3 + 181) to account for both topics and replies, which would be higher than the 183 in second place.

Here’s mine just to demonstrate this is not a widespread issue with the top two slots. You can see that #Contribute > UX and #Contribute > Feature are fighting it out on mine for their slots in third and fourth place in a similar way:

so it shows how many topics and replies you made in total…
