# Move a Discourse site to another VPS with rsync

최근 구형 Ubuntu에서 [Discourse 업그레이드 중 발생한 문제들](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-offline-after-failed-upgrade-bootstrap-failed-with-exit-code-5/288193) 이후 1월에 새로운 VPS로 이사를 계획하고 있습니다.

기존 Digital Ocean 드롭렛에서 새 Digital Ocean 드롭렛으로 이관하는 것에 대해 궁금한 점들은 다음과 같습니다:

- 이사를 하루 전에 DNS A 레코드의 TTL을 5분 정도로 낮추려고 합니다. 이 방법이 적절한가요?

- 이 스레드의 첫 번째 게시글은 2016년 6월에 마지막으로 수정되었습니다. 여전히 유효하고 정확한가요?

- 이 rsync 방법으로 구형 VPS의 데이터베이스 전체도 새 VPS로 복사되나요?  
– 표준 설치 환경입니다.

- 기존 Let’s Encrypt SSL 인증서도 함께 복사되나요? SSL 인증서는 IP 주소와 연관되어 있나요? 자동 갱신이 계속되나요? 주의할 점이 있나요?

- 언제 공용 DNS A 레코드를 새 VPS를 가리키도록 변경해야 하나요?  
– 그리고 TTL도 다시 더 높은 값으로 되돌려야 합니다.
