# Move VB to Discourse (Under TOR network)

Hi. Sharma.  
I want to same function also.

1. I installed Discourse on Docker([standard install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/142537?silent=true)).

2. append web.onion.template.yml to app.yml in containers directory.

before web.ssl.template.yml.

set DISCOURSE\_ONION env variable \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*.onion and rebuild app.

1. after build, ./launcher enter app and sudo apt-get upgrade&sudo apt-get install nano & sudo apt-get install tor

2. edit /etc/tor/torrc and uncomment hidden service dir and port.

HiddenServiceDir /var/lib/tor/hidden\_service/  
HiddenServicePort 80 [127.0.0.1:80](http://127.0.0.1/)

1. run tor.

- not work.

- I checked the tor.service file then it looks like run /bin/true file.

1. check /var/lib/tor/hidden\_service/hostname and got .onion address.

2. close tor.

3. edit onion.conf and replace \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*.onion to the new onion address.

4. run tor again.

5. tried to connect the .onion address. orinal https url works well but .onion address make not found error.
