# Moving a post between topics does not load the post on existing clients

With one browser window open on Topic A and one open on Topic B, if I move a post from Topic B to Topic A, Topic A does not show any changes.
It should show the new post without intervention, or at least refresh the topic in the complex case (posts moved with chronological order kept).

i believe [New posts/replies do not appear in real-time; manual refresh required](https://meta.discourse.org/t/new-posts-replies-do-not-appear-in-real-time-manual-refresh-required/400710) might be the same bug?

Maybe but possibly not - post moves take a different pathway.

I experienced this bug just now. The email i sent to lecturer arrived in a muted-by-user-on-desktop category, so i posted a mention of an AI agent user on desktop, and then immediately moved the lecturer email on my phone (different user), but the desktop showed the Bot’s response quoting the email to the lecturer. I had to browser refresh to get that moved email post to exist, then the email landed in the correct place between bot mention and bot response.
