# Moving extra nav items in main navbar

Howdy all!

In order to add a new header along with some extra links, have followed along here: [(Superseded) Add header menu links](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-add-header-menu-links/29563)

I would like to know how would I go about moving the links from the new header nav down into the original nav bar, as per the screenshot I’ve attached.

You’ll need to be careful with this but you can see a live example of links in the header (on the left) at [http://talk.commonmark.org](http://talk.commonmark.org) – press f12 in your browser to study the markup.
