# Moving topics between sites?

We’re establishing multiple Discourse sites internally to support a variety of communities of practice. Since we expect that people will inadvertently post to the wrong site, we’d like to be able to move topics from one site to another. I searched a bit, but did not find any solutions.
Does this feature exist? Perhaps in the form of a per topic export/import feature?
If not, do people think that it would be helpful in their use of Discourse?

I think it’s a good idea but we don’t specifically support it yet. I do think we should, but there are issues to work out around staging the accounts for the users associated with those topics that may not exist on the target site, etc.
