It seems this plugin doesn’t play well with Discourse 3.5.0beta1, I had to disable it to get the forum back. I found nothing in logs but:

Deprecation notice: add\_to\_serializer should not be used to directly override include\_\*? methods. Use the include\_condition keyword argument instead  
At /var/www/discourse/plugins/discourse-multilingual/plugin.rb:314:in `block in activate!`
