While this plug-in is frozen, it’s worth noting that the newer Discourse versions allow for localization of categories names/descriptions, as well as singular topic localizations as a base Discourse feature, including manually c:

That could be done, but to be very honest, if the limit is set to X and any user edits it X+1 times, you would face the same issue as well. We would then have developed a solution that doesn’t really solve the problem systematically. We do have an indicator that shows when a translation may be outdated, it is coloured the same way as post edits indicator [image] "This post was originally written in English. Translation may be outdated"

As such, it’s understandable that this plug-in is no longer supported, as the features brought by it are almost all available by default in Discourse

EDIT: As a warning, not all current Multilingual features are natively available in Discourse as of now, for instance :

• You can’t hide topics in the different category topics pages according to the Content Languages setting in any given user profile

It’s still a great advancement in features, but a head-up before upgrading your instance.
