# Multiple Topic Timers?

Is it possible to have multiple topic timers?

Here’s why. One idea I had for my forum is to honor notable musicians on their birthdays, and invite members to share recordings and/or stories. I know I can schedule a post, lock it 2 weeks later (as according to Larry David, you need a birthday cut off), and have it unlock/bump a year later on the date. Is there any way to automate this process?

Maybe via the API? You’d need to [reverse engineer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-reverse-engineer-the-discourse-api/20576) it though.

That’s WAY above my pay grade unfortunately. I’m not a programmer. I was just wondering if what I’m looking to do is possible within the framework provided.

Seconding the potential usefulness of this feature - would be nice to set a thread to lock in X minutes, unlock in Y hours, lock again in Z days, etc.
