# Multisite shouldn't send upgrade emails to all admins

I’ve got a handful of sites on a multisite install. Discourse emails all the admins to let them know that they should upgrade. Is there an easy way to get Discourse not to email admins except the one of the master site?

On a related note, there are a bunch of sites where I’m the admin that I **don’t** get those notices. How does Discourse decide who to send the notification to?

Hmm, it should just be all admins. Any comments @neil?

One thing we _could_ do is only email the last (X) admins that were seen recently!

We don’t send new version emails to admins at all. They go to the `contact email` address. You can disable them per-site with the “new version emails” checkbox site setting.
