# My gigantic avatars are not working!

Yeah, you have a site customization there that is asking for gigantic avatars.

@zogstrip there is a hardcoded

in avatars controller, perhaps we should allow up to 1000 ? It just results in a redirect anyway

```plaintext
return render_blank if size < 8 || size > 500

```
