Name colors for christmas

(Jason) #1

I have multiple groups on my site with many different colored names for each of them.

i even have a group where the name changes color and a group with invisible names.

i was wondering if there was a way for letters in the names to be more then one color?

for example.
my name is jason

i want
J=green
A=Red
S=white
O=green
N=Red

for christmas colors

Can you include a screenshot of these coloured letters? I’m not sure I’m following.

i don’t have it yet, i was wondering if it was possible

to have each letter in someones name a different color?

Can’t you be happy just to have the hats? :slight_smile:

I don’t think that CSS can do that.

I read your post and thought “That sounds just like someone I know,” and then, well, it’s you!

You can kind of do something interesting with CSS and -webkit-background-clip

span.first.full-name a {
    background: linear-gradient(to right, rgba(116,214,128,1) 0%,rgba(255,120,120,1) 100%);
    -webkit-background-clip: text;
    -webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;
}

This gives you

13%20PM

There’s not a great way to alternate the color of individual letters though.

That’s just a basic CSS change

span.first.full-name a {
    color: #107C10;
}
