Natural breakpoints or "chapters" for long topics?

Hi, I’d like to add a specific use case here so that it might help with the design.

When I am dealing with the long thread I usually do not reply to comments when I see them, because often they might have been already answered later in the thread.

So usually I do a first pass reading the thing, making some mental notes on what things I want to reply to.

Then I do a second pass trying to return to the things I remembered and comment on them.

Currently the timeline slider doesn’t really help with that because it only allows me to jump to a post number. While I am reading things post numbers are not very visible and definitely hard to remember.

So for me it would be super useful if I could bookmark “post-to-reply” on that first reading, and then jump back to them.

It would be useful also to jump back to reactions, not just a bookmark. Because then I can have different marks for different posts and can reply in batches: on second pass reply to all positive comments with “thank you” on third reply to one issue mentioned by several people. On a forth - to the other.. and so on.

So to conclude: this mostly highlights the need to jump between the posts with based on my own reactions and bookmarks, not based on a generic heatmap of the thread.
