# Need help over installing Discourse using Github Documentation help?

You don’t need to install any software. Postgres, redis, ruby are in the container.

Did you install nginx? You don’t need that either.

I would recommend that your create a new droplet and start again. Follow the instructions. They say nothing about installing those packages.

What told you to install any of these? Because the instructions you linked didn’t.
