# New group PM from email

Hi all

Recently set up the option to reply by email for topics which makes life easier for members. I’ve read that you can set up new posts to categories by emailing in, but is it possible to do this with PMs to a group?

For example, we have a group called “Support”, and someone (a registered user), could email, let’s say [support\_group@example.com](mailto:support_group@example.com), and it would create a new PM between the user and the group.

It is possible, it’s also how we handle support for Discourse customers.

Email received by a group ends up in a shared group PM inbox.
