The change is interesting! Looking at the initial PRs such as: [https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/28828](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/28828) [https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/29245](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/29245) (but also #29225, #29079) I appreciate the intention to simplify and create a more user-friendly interface. I think with the appropriate screenshots and description, it would look quite good! Merging theme and components makes sense. Avoiding multiple sidebars seems to be a good idea as well. My immediate concern is the missing search and filtering, but I’m sure the UI will be refined with improvements later. When you have many components, it’s a must-have feature. Others feedbacks: - As Jakke said, the install button should be at the top, or at least a shortcut. Scrolling can be discouraging if you have many components. - You can `Set default` a component, and of course you are not supposed to do that - When you update a component, I would expect the menu to close once clicked: - Can we find a shorter label? 😄 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/meta/original/4X/c/9/6/c96206f7edbe9af2d44b716accbec2ec9a497c6b.png) - I would not mind an option to choose with a grid or list view at the top of the page.
