# New TLDs are not turned into mailto: URIs

The new TLD `.community` and probably others don’t generate a `mailto:` URI in posts. E.g.: foo@bar.community vs. [foo@bar.net](mailto:foo@bar.net)

Not a bug. We only auto-linkify certain TLDs by default. See the `markdown linkify tlds` site setting. You can add additional TLDs to that list if you want them to be linked automatically.
