# "New Topic" button is missing when I visit a forum

I signed up for the fast.ai forum, but I don’t see a “New Topic” button; why?

Hi Nathan,

Maybe there is a restriction to new users cannot create new topic.🤔 I found some relevant post on their site about it just use search. I think you should ask `fast.ai` forum staff about it. 🙂
