# "New Topic" button on tag results page?

We had some users browsing tags and asked why there wasn’t a “New Topic” button on a tag list page (such as [this one](https://meta.discourse.org/tags/tagging)). It might help to prevent tag proliferation and encourage use of existing tags.
Similar to new topics created from a category listing page, this button would pre-populate the relevant tag in the composer window.

How about the option of sticky topics/threads for tags too? Or somewhere to put a description?
