# New topic creation - Forward to experts by e-mail

Hi Discourse team,
I wonder, is there any way to forward new topics on a certain category to the “experts” related to the category by e-mail?
If there is, will it work if ill open the topic via e-mail?
If there isn’t, is it a feature you plan on adding in the future?

Users can subscribe to categories on their own. AFAIK, there’s no way to force a user to be subscribed to a category.

Hi, and thank you for your reply. that suits me if they can subscribe to it. i guess they will recieve by mail any new topic that will be created under the category they subscribed to, correct me please if im worng. in addition to my former question, is it possible to create new topic on a designated category via mail, or it will stright go to uncetogrized?
