# New topic posted as a question?

Hi I would like to know if there’s a way to have a new topic posted as a question to any category that then enables the discourse solved plugin on that topic.

I don’t want all topics globally to have the solution option on it and I also don’t want to enable solved topics on a per category basis given I have 20 categories with various sub categories.

I saw this option by @awesomerobot [Convert the New Topic button to a have a sub menu - #7 by awesomerobot](https://meta.discourse.org/t/convert-the-new-topic-button-to-a-have-a-sub-menu/212300/7) but I can’t see an option to enable solved topics by tags, is there any work around?

`/admin/site_settings/category/all_results?filter=enable solved tags` has the setting for solved tags
