# "New" topics tab frequently shows inflated count of new topics

Here’s what I’m seeing:

I realise it could just be an odd caching thing (I’m on Mac OS X 10.10, Chrome), so I’d like to know if anyone else has noticed this.

This is a bug some messages are missing somewhere, I need a repro, ideally on try: you are going to need multiple accounts and multiple browsers open though
