# New user, New topic, Minimum char alert contents!

I was testing my Discourse site as new user.

When I’d tried to create a post with less than 20 char its gave me the following alert:

I think this (❤) Heart icon meant to be this (☺) Smiley face.

I know its not a big issue but it could be confusing for new users!

Nope, it is meant to be the ❤, as it is trying to encourage the user to use the ❤ (to like a post) instead of saying things like “I agree”, or “Yes”, or “I like”

😊 Sorry for that!

But may be adding “instead” before the question mark could be more understandable. Since the user already in writing situation 😉
