# New users cannot be created through the LDAP plugin

Since the update to version v3.2.0, new users are no longer being created through the [LDAP plugin v0.61](https://github.com/jonmbake/discourse-ldap-auth) (from Jon Bake). When I try to log in with a new user, the browser just returns to the welcome page.  
In the meantime, I have also searched through all the logs but found no messages about it… please help if possible 🙂
