# Nextcloud support

Great thread over here. We are looking the same, plugins seems to be outdated.

I think that features could be great and not too much complex to develop:

- Login into Nextcloud with Discourse credentials. I found the opposite and we want to login from our community.
- Simple way to insert files from Nextcloud in topics on Discourse (accounts linked from profile or automatic with SSO).
- Possibility to link specific chats with specific rooms on Nextcloud Talk _(there is no Teams on Discourse anymore?)_.
- Mix Jitsi Discourse plugin with Nextcloud Talk (that uses Jisti too) and engage a workflow accesible from both access points.

Currently possible:

- Add an icon or new link to _Nextcloud files_ using [Custom Header Icons](https://meta.discourse.org/t/custom-header-links-icons/86307) or [Custom Header Links](https://meta.discourse.org/t/custom-header-links/90588) or the new feature from Discourse on sidebar.
- [Mentioned on topic] enable [notificacions from Discourse on Nextcloud](https://github.com/nextcloud/integration_discourse) (I will try this on next days)
