# No turning back on chatbot + chats

When entering the full-screen chat and then the chatbot (or vice versa), it’s impossible to return to the forum. Both back buttons spin in place, with no possibility of returning to the forum itself.
**Expected behavior:** Both buttons should return to the homepage and/or the link the user was previously navigating.

when you say chatbot, do you mean `forum.example.com/discourse-ai/ai-bot/conversations`?
so would the steps be:
1. go to a fullscreen chat channel
2. go to `/discourse-ai/ai-bot/conversations`
3. attempt to return to forum?
I can’t reproduce the issue, but it’s possible I’m missing some combination of settings

Yes, in Horizon (mobile) but opening the chatbot first in `/discourse-ai/ai-bot/conversations` followed by the full chat.
Note that I am using the [F Nav](https://meta.discourse.org/t/f-nav-mobile-navigation-tabs/342277) theme component to allow entering the chat from the chatbot full-page, and it is not available on the Discourse default UI. But everyone can enter the URL, and I think it should encounter the same described behavior.
