我运营一家非营利组织，正在寻找一个论坛平台以整合到我们的网站中。目前，我们的成员只能通过 Google Groups 进行沟通，但这往往导致重要对话被埋没。我希望找到一个平台，既能通过私人电子邮件进行对话，又能将对话内容存储在平台上。Discourse 是否支持这一功能？Discourse 是否适合我们的需求？除了最佳实践讨论和信息共享等对话功能外，我们还能用它来做什么？

😁 Discourse 当然主要通过电子邮件使用，但我_个人_更倾向于从网站操作中获得的更广泛的话题视野。
在我看来，_仅_通过电子邮件操作的唯一两个缺点可能是：
1. 仅凭电子邮件通知难以区分面向所有人的话题与私人消息，以及
2. 如果用户的电子邮件通知未设置为_全部_，则无法察觉新发起的感兴趣话题。
不过，我可能并不了解针对这两个问题的解决方案。

作为对比，如果您尚未设置电子邮件通知，由于我正在“追踪”此主题并设置了直接回复的通知，以下是我收到的电子邮件样式：

它们可以在通用论坛或分类中实现。它们_也可以_与私信 (PM)、群组及群组消息、Wiki 帖子、电子邮件配合使用，利用一些可用的插件，或与 Discourse 团队合作开发定制插件等。

管理员可以通过两种方式完成此操作。他们可以在站点设置中将某个分类添加到“默认关注”或“默认关注首帖”中。
管理员还可以通过用户的账户偏好设置，按用户单独进行配置。我之前曾为一名用户做过这个操作，因为该用户似乎无法成功设置，感到非常沮丧。
版主可以_查看_其他用户的该部分设置，但无法进行修改。
