# Nonexistent Users show up on Badge Pages

As you can see on the [https://meta.discourse.org/badges/134/amazing-committer](https://meta.discourse.org/badges/134/amazing-committer) badge page, @eviltrout shows up as a user who has earned the Amazing committer badge.

If you click on their card, it will give you the card loading, then immediately close. If you open their profile in a new tab, it will give the “Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private” error.

Of course I am not sure what happened to this user as I am not an admin here, but I don’t think that users should show up on badge pages when they don’t exist.

@techAPJ my guess here is that staged users have not been omitted properly?
