Not seeing all information in admin logs

I am trying to solve the issue of admin’s being complete superusers (ridiculous imo) and a part of this is exposing the admin logs to our userbase for transparency. However, I have seen cases in my latest deployment where I can check user messages on the admin account and it doesn’t show up in the logs. What would cause this?

oh… sorry… I see now that logging admin’s viewing of member’s pm’s is not enabled out of the box. what a ridiculous thing to not have enabled. jfc. this has caused an absurd amount of problems in my community. i am working on a zero-trust admin solution if anyone is interested.

People can see how many users have read a PM in the PM interface so there’s your zero trust. :wink:
