# Notification on Stale Posts

We have the need to be notified when a post is older than X hours. Any plans for this?

All posts? Or topics too? Forever? In all categories or only in certain categories? Do you want to be notified when your own post is older than X hours?

It’s a really narrow requirement, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard it.

We are adding some [querystring support](https://meta.discourse.org/t/viewing-open-archived-or-closed-topics/11915/2) to find topics that have no replies and other “advanced” scenarios.

We may not need it. I think what comes out of the box may do for us.

If you need advanced querysring support don’t hesitate to ask, happy to have more advanced / narrow views in testing via querystring.
