# Notification When Pinned Post Expires

Hi, when a Pinned Topic expires, it would be nice to be able to receive a notification that the Topic is no longer pinned. Perhaps this could be a toggle when pinning a post (“Receive notification when this Pin expires?”)?

I don’t know how often you need this and if you need it to be automatic, but you could simply set a topic timer along with pinning the topic.
🔧 → Set Topic Timer … → User Topic Timers
