# Notifications for admin about awaiting sign up

currently when a user sign up in a “sign-up approved forum”, admin do not understand unless he checks the user list.

and sometimes admin may forget to check that list.

This already exists, check your site settings for the email notification time.

yes, you were right, it already exists by this name: “pending users reminder delay”.

somehow it doesn’t alert the admin, but alert moderators (as described below the option: “Notify moderators if new users have been waiting for approval for longer than this many hours. Set to -1 to disable notifications.”).

isn’t it better if admins also get notified?

Does the admin account have ‘Moderator?’ set to true in the Admin \> Users area?
